Briefing note titles and tracking numbers
As required by Part 2 of the Access to Information Act, Government of Canada institutions must publish the titles of briefing notes that were prepared for ministers and deputy heads, along with tracking numbers and other related details, on a monthly basis.
Please note that information that would normally be withheld under Part 1 of the Access to Information Act or under the Privacy Act does not appear in the database. Some titles of briefing notes prepared by the Public Prosecution Service of Canada for the Director of Public Prosecutions or for the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada are redacted to protect solicitor-client privileged communications, personal information, and other confidential information.
